Larry Brimer has been performing music since the 70's. At first taking numerous lessons on the acoustic guitar and wondering why he just couldn't get it to sound like the record. He later found out it was a Dobro and not a guitar that was making that sound he so loved. Upon finding his true calling he has played it for all its worth, recording ten albums and performing in and around the southeast for over 40 years including lead roles in the groups; "The Freedom Gospel Boys", "Crossroads", and "The Beacons". Larry's vocal styling's are a cross between Randy Travis and Don Williams.
FUN FACT: Larry performed for the first time in public in the late 1970's at "The Mainline" music venue In Philadelphia Pennsylvania, dedicating the Charlie Rich song "Behind Closed Doors" to his now wife of 50 years, Mary.
Chuck Brimer, a Berklee alumnus, started in his father's footsteps when he was just 13 years old playing guitar on the "Reverend Newton's Gospel Hour" live on WCGC. Various opportunities' followed including; a four year headlining run at Jigger's Drive In, a third place finish at the "Hot August Nights" competition in Reno, Nevada, a singing part in the CBS Miniseries "Shake, Rattle, & Roll", along with writing and recording two solo albums. Fred Little is a drummer/percussionist who has played with various groups (R&B, Beach, Jazz, Rock, Drum & Bugle Corps, and Orchestral) since his early days in high school. Over the years Fred has performed with and shared the stage with many legends in the music industry; The Platters, Sonny Turner, The Impressions, The Shirelles, Jackie Wilson, The Four Tops, The Embers, The Tams, and Bill Deal and The Rhondels, to name a few.
However, Fred has found that Christian based music gives him the opportunity to help take people’s eyes off of their own circumstances and focus them on the Lord. He plays at his home church, as well as, other local churches and says, “It is not the drum that determines the spiritual value of the music but the heart of the drummer”. Fred lives in Gastonia with his wife Rosie.
Jack Yarborough is a lifelong music lover that first chartered his tuneful course as a member of the ever popular "Dewey Jenkins Starlight Sagebrush Band". While his strong suit is acoustic guitar, he also makes for a burly showing on mandolin, kazoo, and does a tip worthy trick with a vintage Cracker Jack Box. Jack does a great Burl Ives imitation during his comedy routine that has the crowd rolling with laughter. But as great as that impression is, his best is none other than Willie Nelson. Jack is a crowd favorite, especially with children in December when he dons a red outfit and takes requests for presents while passing out candy canes.
FUN FACT: Jack runs lighting, video, and produces the recorded services for the 142nd largest Baptist Church in the US.
